I recently watched a conversation between a university student and a Bible teacher who had gathered with a group of young people on campus. A young lady came forward with questions for the teacher.
“Are there conditions for going to heaven?”
He answered, “Yes.”
“Are there people in heaven?”
He answered “Yes.”
“Perfect people?,” she asked.
He answered “NO.”
Next she asked, “Do you have to be perfect to be in heaven?”
He answered, “Yes.”
“Then how can imperfect people be in heaven?”
He answered, “God came in the flesh to make them perfect through a substitute who paid the punishment for their sins. Jesus’ perfect life and blood sacrifice for sinners is our only hope of heaven.”
We must receive this gift of love by placing our full trust in God’s love!!!
